Day 427

I don't know what my deal is, but I'll hear a song and proceed to have it STUCK in my head for days.  It's happened with a few songs this week alone!

Day 378

All winter, I've been busy in tiny spurts - mostly on weekends, here and there.  Today, all of my spring plans just merged and I had a crazy busy day.  I think most of my stress came/is coming from multi-tasking in my brain.  I'm feeling a smidge overwhelmed, but it's all good/fun things.  Coming home at 8:00 pm is weird to me as I haven't done that since last fall.  Deep breaths.  Welcome to wedding season!!!

Day 235

Today's weather was actually pretty great, considering we're in mid-November.  It was warm enough to stand being outside to plant my bulbs for spring.  Dad helped, so it went a LOT faster!  I made Grandpa a pineapple upside-down cake for his birthday (we went out to eat on his bday).  Unfortunately, it was kind of bland.  I think I added too much flour.  That kind of thing happens when I'm tired and watching a movie while trying to bake.  Whoops!  Definitely still worth eating, so I'm calling it a win for me.  I was totally afraid I'd flip it over and it'd fall apart or be runny or something.  Whew!

Day 178.  Happy Birthday to my little brother-from-another-mother!  Today, Stephanie and I photographed a wedding (our fourth and final for this season) for a girl we went to high school with!  Weddings are always fun.  I decided about 2/3 of the way into the reception that I was going to dance to songs I liked with everyone else.  Worked out in my favor, since I got some more candid shots than if I were just on the sidelines.  :)

Let's get rich and buy our parents homes in the south of France

Day 36. Running in the rain is kind of fun. Ingrid Michaelson's "Be Ok" album is good, so you should check it out.

Day 16. My bridesmaid dress actually fits! One more round with the alteration lady and it'll be tres bien. It was quite the sight when I could fit my entire arm in the chesty area. I don't think all the silicone in the world would have filled out that dress...legal levels, anyway.

Day 6! I have squishy shoes now, thanks to the crazy rain we got this afternoon. I was a little sad I didn't have a camera to capture the hippie lady run across the parking lots barefoot to reach her car. Goooooo Butler! Having the final game on a Monday is not very intelligent in my opinion. Oh well, life goes on.
