I had today off, so in addition to a bunch of household items that needed to be addressed, I made dinner for my family. It was a combo of "I'm off work today, so why not?" + Dad's belated birthday dinner + "I really need to improve upon my cooking skills." I made this Pork Roast with Apples & Onions. I had a few minor issues, but they weren't anything that can't be fixed with practice. For dessert, Dad requested banana splits, so banana splits we ate! If he's 50, doesn't that mean I'm ... kinda old, too? Weird!
