I don't know why I keep letting myself be filled with anxiety, worry, and fear. I don't know why I can't just let the words "God will take care of you" stick in my brain. Somehow the anxiety sticks and the confidence just doesn't. I'm not a big fan of change, even though I know it's good for me. There's a lot of change going on right now, and I just need to keep talking to God about it. He'll help me through it. Interestingly enough, a powerhouse in the magazine/wedding/awesome market - Lara Casey - is worrying about a lot these days, too. I read her post, and thought it fit perfectly with my current worries. If you're worried about something, too, you should read this. (If you're clicking on this after 10/27/11, make sure you scroll back to the correct post.)
“Then Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?’” -Luke 12:22-26
