My aunt's baby chicks arrived today!  I held one; they're so tiny and furry and precious.  I think I'm going to do a little glamour shoot with them on Saturday if they cooperate.  Wouldn't that be cute?  (The answer is yes, of course.)

Listening to St. Vincent's "Strange Mercy" album and reflecting on my good day.  For some reason, on the days that I choose to wear a dress, I have a better day.  Weird, huh?  I had lovely conversation and a rockin' dinner at The Cheesecake Factory with Brook and Amanda, then finally got in to Sephora to exchange some makeup.  I'm all set now, and I'm pretty excited to start wearing it.  It's pretty fancy (for me).  Note: don't have Ben & Jerry's Half Baked ice cream + yummy brownies before noon...even if it is your co-workers birthday and you made the brownies yourself.  It isn't lunch!

Today was better.  I just completely killed a big project, and wore myself out in the process.  (If I'm busy working, I don't think about stupid things so much.)
