DAY 365!!!!

WOO HOO!  Happy 1st (full year) anniversary to my little blog!  I celebrated by having dinner with some lovely lady co-workers/friends.  Ok, we got together just to have girls' night, not for my blog's birthday.  :-P  We did have fun, though.  We drank Oliver hard apple cider and strawberry pina coladas while eating our partially gluten-free Mexican dinner.  We polished off some Edy's strawberry popsicles while playing an intense (ha!) game of Scrabble.

Do me a favor and let me know if you're reading my blog.  I'm interested to see if I have any readers after 365 days.

Day 364

...I've almost been doing this for an entire year.  Weeeeird.

Well, my grandma is officially home from the nursing home/rehab.  We took dinner over there and ate as she was getting reacquainted with her apartment.  As if I could ever forget, my stubborn and sassy genes definitely come from her.  Good Lord, it's her way or the highway!  Apparently, if you try and tell a story  that she doesn't want to hear, she'll just turn up the TV.  Patience, patience, patience...my mother has a lot of it. :)

Day 363

Ryne and I saw "The Last Lions" at the Keystone Art Cinema last night.  We laughed, I almost cried, and we smiled when the cute little cubs were on the screen.  You should definitely check it out, even if only to see the sweet shots of Botswana and Africa as a whole from space!

Monday, blah!  Positive note: I'm finishing up my cake balls that I started the other day.  If I see you tomorrow, I'll have a treat for you! :)

I enjoy a good night out on the town with friends, especially when I get to wear tennis shoes.  Hey, we were watching basketball, so ... I was ... being festive!  It's a heck of a lot easier to dance and walk around at 2:30 am when you're NOT wearing heels, I can tell you that much.  :)

5 Things I Like: March Edition
(I'm sure you've just been dying to read this. :-P )

  

1. Le Creuset cookware.  If I ever get one of these, I'm sure it'll be awesome!
2. Butler basketball.  March Madness is alive and well!  I've got to support the last hometown team in the tournament. 
3. K&Company paper.  I would wallpaper with this stuff if I could...or if I had a wall in need of decoration. 
4. Early Sunrise candle by Yankee Candle.  It's a little bit of citrus with comfy laundry.  Awesome. 
5. Vitamin Water XXX.  I try not to drink it too often since it's full of sugar, but it's a great substitute for pop!  Plus, I like to live under the illusion that it actually has some health benefits.

I love wearing jeans to work.  It just puts a little pep in my step. :)

Day 358

I had a great dinner with Ryne's family and some friends tonight.  Colleen and Courtney made a delicious beef brisket with a sun dried tomato sauce, egg noodles with olive oil and garlic, rolls, and salad.  I made a yellow cake with some caramel icing.  We ate very well!  We needed all of that to stay up late to watch Butler score another victory!

I got a new j-o-b today! WOOOO HOOOO!  I can't wait! :D

Day 356

Today, I am just so stinking happy.  I have so much to be thankful for (recent events), am surrounded by wonderful family and friends, and am experiencing some lovely warm weather here.  I love it! :)  I hope your day is as great as mine has been!
