Today, I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon at the Visit Indy annual meeting Downtown at the Indiana Convention Center.  Markey's did a really, really good job on the setup, lights, screens, video, etc.  Seriously top notch work.  I think there were between 400-500 people there, and I got a little networking time in.  Since most of these people were older men, and their name tags were handwritten, it was a little difficult to read in an inconspicuous way while walking by.  Oh well.  Looking forward to attending more Visit Indy events to network and bring more people into the city!

P.S. I had Sugar Cream Pie today for the first time (just the filling in a cup).  Has it always been amazing?

I really like this song, and I find myself singing it in my head during the day.  Totally pictured the guy kid with some sort of facial hair.  Maybe it'll come in later this year.

For those of you that know me, what makes me happy (outside of babies, hugs, good men, and food)?

Photography and/or our photography business is the correct answer!  So, after my not-so-hot weekend filled with things that made me feel ... less than stellar, I needed a pick-me-up.  (I don't know why I'm all about the hyphens today.)  Dave (hi, Dave!) apparently knew and started gmail chatting with me which definitely improved my mood last night.  Then, today, I got yet another wedding request for this summer.  How cool is that?!  So far, I'm up to 2 friend wedding requests and 1 maternity session.  It's only January 7th, kids.  I'm lovin' this.

I've said it before.  I'll say it again.  Life is about the simple things.  Figure out what makes you happy and celebrate it!

I have to start working out again.  The lack of blood pumping, muscle exercising goodness is making my body go through withdrawal!  I don't like being this blah lump of girl.  Working on a plan!

This is totally a girl thing (I think).  I would l-o-v-e to have just one day a month - a standing reservation if you will - where all my girl friends get together and watch movies, chill in our jammies, bake and eat yummy foods, and just chat.  For those of you that went to college with me, yes, that is basically what I did for 4 years with my roommates.  Yes, I miss that and them terribly.  That is all! :)
