Day 902

Not the best day ever by any means, but I asked God to lift my spirits and He did.  Have faith.

Day 900

I had breakfast with some super cute babies and their mommies today.  Steph N., Rachel, Eliana, Steph M., Camden, and I all met up for some cheerios and strawberries.  No, actually, that was Cam's breakfast that he devoured before moving on to his second course of what big kids eat.  He's getting so big!  Eliana's getting tall and just loves to show off her 6 teeth.  After breakfast, we headed to the playground at St. Roch, which wasn't as big of a hit as the new fountain/water feature!  I love these kids and the snuggle time I receive! :)

Day 899

Oh, what a fun night with the ladies!  Since the clouds didn't part and the sun didn't shine on us this evening, RaeAnn, Cierra, Stephanie N. and I decided to just go to Naked Tchopstix (my first time) for dinner and a round of (really tasty) lemon drop martinis.  After dinner, we headed to Cooper's Hawk so two of our four ladies could pick up their wine of the month club bottles.  We decided to stay for a tasting, then ended up in the bar eating pretzel bread and making Steph N. drink a French martini in celebration of her birthday (Sunday).  Fun night!

Day 898

I now know what it must feel like to get punched in the face!  I made it through work, but I'm really not functioning at 100% ... but really, am I ever? ;)  Oddly enough, I'm also using a loaner car from the dealership, so I'm just experiencing all kinds of weird things this week.  I'm driving my (realistic) dream car, people!

Day 897

I paid some guy big money to poke and prod my gums with needles today.  At least he used cherry numbing gel and wore clean gloves.

Day 896

Sometimes, your gut feeling is right on the money and the guy you didn't want to go out with truly is a guy you shouldn't have gone out with.  Oh well, the date only wasted 45 minutes of my time.  Yeah, you read it right, our date was a whopping 45 minutes in length.  Moving on!

Day 895

I slept INNNNN today!  I guess I was worn out from the concert and standing out in the rain.  Laundry, laundry, laundry and not much else was done today.  I've started watching "Parenthood" and it's a pretty good series.

Day 894

Carolina Liar + The Fray + Kelly Clarkson = one awesome concert.  Despite the pouring rain, we had a really fun time.  The blanket I brought weighed about 70 pounds by the end (soaking wet), so we attempted to wring it out before heading back to the car.  Even then, it took two of us to carry it out.  A random trip to Cierra's house followed! :)

Day 893

Since a portion of my job involves promoting travel for ladies, I got to participate in the 2nd annual Indianapolis Women's Half Marathon & 5K today (we were corporate sponsors).  I got up at the crack of dawn and walked all over downtown.  It was amazing to see the runners!  They're in amazing shape, and just go go go.  I found it particularly interesting that we each received a long-stemmed rose, medal, fruit, and chocolate milk upon completion.  Fun {sweaty} times! :)
