I saw 4 ducks crossing the street today, and they were pretty darn cute.  I just love all that summer has to offer.  I think my favorite thing right now is the extended amount of sunshine.  It's soooo nice to come home from work (usually late) and still have time to sit outside to soak up some rays.  It's exactly what I need after a tiring day inside.  I'm a human solar panel!  I need the light to recharge. :)

Did anyone else see Tosh.0 tonight?  I saw a few minutes of it, which was enough to make me laugh.

Happy Birthday, Kristen!  Last one as a single lady!

I just love sitting outside on one of my new blue chairs, reading and soaking up some sunshine.  It just makes me happy. :)

P.S. If you haven't listened to Adele's new album, "21," you're missing out.  Remedy that now!

Day 430

I'm looking forward to my next visitor so that they can sit next to me on my back porch.  I just purchased these two blue adirondack chairs tonight.  They're not just "blue," they're the same color as my room.  OH YEAH, they're bright.  Naturally, I'm pretty excited about them.  The porched needed some color (KUL-ahh).

Note: if you need any cilantro, please let me be your supplier.  I have it coming out of my ears.  Not really, though, as that'd be pretty gross.

Day 429

I got up an hour earlier than usual today, and had a pretty productive day.  Work has been SO busy, so I decided to get caught up over the weekend.  It always helps when you can't receive any new messages, so I wasn't distracted by new emails!  However, I then noticed that I had a whopping 54-ish emails in the outbox.  They'll be sent out bright and early Monday morning.

Day 428

Half day Fridays are great, but they'll be even better when I am actually able to leave at 12:30 to take advantage of it!  So far I'm 0/2 leaving at 4:30 both times it's been available.  However, thinking optimistically, that's leaving at least an hour earlier than a normal day. :)

Day 427

I don't know what my deal is, but I'll hear a song and proceed to have it STUCK in my head for days.  It's happened with a few songs this week alone!

Day 426

Today's happenings: stressful day at work, had some champagne at work for Michelle's going away party, watched "Julie & Julia" after destroying a bunch of weeds in my garden, and then proceeded to get really freaked out by some sounds outside.  I'm 99.9% sure it was someone closing the gate on their truck bed across the street (and then leaving or talking or making some other sort of ruckus).  Whew!
