Day 223.  I'm partially through the finale of Project Runway.  The suspense is killin' me! ;)  I'm excited to finish watching it, whenever that time comes.  :)

Day 222.  Daylight savings time has kicked in, and now I want to go to sleep way earlier than before.  This is really only concerning since I have a TON of bulbs and plants to get in the ground before it's sub zero outside.  Might be a little problematic if it's dark outside when I get home from work!  Yikes.

Day 220.  So... I made a pink cake for my friend's 30th birthday party.  She loves pink, and she loved the cake.  However, in the cosmetic aspect, it didn't exactly turn out as planned.  I had some issues with the cake: not totally flat (good to have it flat for a 2 layer cake), crack / split down the middle (probably because I didn't let it cool long enough), and it hit the side of the glass dome of the cake stand (I didn't really think about the lid when I was starting out with icing.  So, dear friends of mine, learn from my mistakes so your baked goods are tasty AND pretty.  Oh, and this was a pink almond party cake; at least that's what it was called on the recipe. :)

Day 218.  Just heard about the New Kids on the Block AND Backstreet Boys tour that starts next year! Ahhhh, I can't wait to see where they'll tour.  Keeping my fingers crossed for Indy!

Day 217.  Vanilla Bean Cheesecake isn't as boring as I was anticipating it would be.  It was actually quite delicious.  Of course, I've only had it at TGI Friday's, so I can't speak for all versions.

Day 215.  I got on the elliptical today, woo hoo!  It's been a week that I've been trying to get on it.  I made time for it today, albeit 15 minutes.  Whatever, I've got to start somewhere.  My legs feel better already; got them out of that 90 degree angle that they're in all day in a desk chair!

P.S. Tell someone in your life how much you love and appreciate them today, ok?  If that's too weird, say a prayer for them.  None of us are perfect and could always use a few extra prayers. :o)
