It's amazing how much things change in a few days, weeks, and months.  Blink and you'll miss it!  I'm a heavy Pinterest user lately, so I feel like I'm full of cliche inspirational quotes inserted into everyday conversation.  Let's hope it's not that bad.

I joined a gym today, less than a month after our exercise classes stopped at work!  I really thought it would take me longer to get back on the wagon.  Woo hoo!

Friends (if any still read my blog): would you attend a monthly or quarterly friends dinner?  I'd like to host it most of the time (because I like having people over), but would also be open to making it a rotating thing.  Assigned pot luck so no one is breaking the bank.  We'd all cook a little more often than we currently do (my guess).  I need to learn how to cook more than my 3 fall backs!  :oP  Open to anyone we all feel comfortable having in our homes.  Your thoughts?  

Day 1000

Here we are - day 1000!  Funny thing is, my life isn't all that different from when I started this project.  I'm typing on the same computer in the same house.  A few things have changed, though.  I think {and hope you agree} my photos have improved.  I've aged {like a fine wine ;) }.  I have a different job, different outlook on life, and different {really just additional} friends.  I'm still looking for the right guy for me and still trying my best to be a positive person.

No need for any dramatic goodbyes.  After all, this is just a blog.  It's not like I'm leaving for real!  I'm still going to post photos all the time.  What else would I do with all of them?  (Currently, there are 564 photos in the folder.)

Wow, almost 1,000 days.  This blog has been around for awhile, and has been a fun way to share photos of things I've seen and share my perspective on things that have happened.  And to think, I started it all as a competition on April Fool's Day 2010.  Funny how small things can impact your life!

It's amazing to me how much better I can feel when prescribed the proper OTC medication.  One little pill and I can function again!  It only helped that it was sunny and almost 70 degrees here today.  Not bad for January!  I had one of those can't-miss-totally-awesome shopping days.  Now, I'm being serenaded by the rain as I go to sleep.  Good day! :)

Today, I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon at the Visit Indy annual meeting Downtown at the Indiana Convention Center.  Markey's did a really, really good job on the setup, lights, screens, video, etc.  Seriously top notch work.  I think there were between 400-500 people there, and I got a little networking time in.  Since most of these people were older men, and their name tags were handwritten, it was a little difficult to read in an inconspicuous way while walking by.  Oh well.  Looking forward to attending more Visit Indy events to network and bring more people into the city!

P.S. I had Sugar Cream Pie today for the first time (just the filling in a cup).  Has it always been amazing?

I really like this song, and I find myself singing it in my head during the day.  Totally pictured the guy kid with some sort of facial hair.  Maybe it'll come in later this year.

For those of you that know me, what makes me happy (outside of babies, hugs, good men, and food)?

Photography and/or our photography business is the correct answer!  So, after my not-so-hot weekend filled with things that made me feel ... less than stellar, I needed a pick-me-up.  (I don't know why I'm all about the hyphens today.)  Dave (hi, Dave!) apparently knew and started gmail chatting with me which definitely improved my mood last night.  Then, today, I got yet another wedding request for this summer.  How cool is that?!  So far, I'm up to 2 friend wedding requests and 1 maternity session.  It's only January 7th, kids.  I'm lovin' this.

I've said it before.  I'll say it again.  Life is about the simple things.  Figure out what makes you happy and celebrate it!

I have to start working out again.  The lack of blood pumping, muscle exercising goodness is making my body go through withdrawal!  I don't like being this blah lump of girl.  Working on a plan!

This is totally a girl thing (I think).  I would l-o-v-e to have just one day a month - a standing reservation if you will - where all my girl friends get together and watch movies, chill in our jammies, bake and eat yummy foods, and just chat.  For those of you that went to college with me, yes, that is basically what I did for 4 years with my roommates.  Yes, I miss that and them terribly.  That is all! :)
