Oh DANG it's hot out there.  I thought it was hot when I was working out, then I went outside and got slapped in the face with a fist full of heat and humidity.  Ooooo weeeee!

Sassy show tonight!  We had over 150 ladies there, ahhh!  Not a single negative word about my presentation, the food, the service, or the packets.  In fact, I heard a lot of positive compliments!  How cool is that?!

Happy Birthday to the sassiest lady I know, my grandma!  You know it's true...

Day 826

Prepping for tomorrow's BIG show has been stressful, but not in a terrible way (if that makes any sense).  I don't know that I've ever had more literal headaches in my life, but I'm so happy that we've had such a positive response to our little club.  I suppose I'm nervous since I'm kind of the co-creator, I chose all of the trips, all of the photos, helped with the design of all of the materials, etc. - I've got my hands in all aspects of this club.  If it fails, I'll be really sad.  However, what might be even scarier is the idea of it taking off.  This could be HUGE.  Whoa.

Legit lunch date?  Yes, please.  Seriously, it was the highlight of my day. :)  I need to remember the IMA's Nourish Cafe for lunch as it's gorgeous and convenient.

Today was (yet another) really weird day.  I seem to collect those in my life. :oP  I went to a wedding (yes, on a Sunday - my old next door neighbor, Daman, got married), said goodbye to our priest, Fr. Glenn, as he has been transfered to another parish, and got slapped in the face with random (not so hot) news.  Such is life, I suppose.  Looking forward to my *HUGE* presentation to introduce our new ladies-only travel club for work.  As of now, we're expecting a full house - 175 ladies!  Let's hope I don't trip in my chic pencil skirt or stutter during my presentation.

Saw this band - The Hangdog Hearts - last night at Three Pints Brewpub with Johnny.  They're a great mix of (what I think is) New Orleans sass, blues, and awesomeness.  Check them out:

On this Friday evening, most commonly reserved by society for dates and fun, social activities, I've chosen to stay in, chill in my PJs, catch up on my Hulu queue, and do laundry.  Is it bad that I'm pumped to not have to do anything major tonight?  Hmm...

Do you ever have that feeling where you're go-go-go and mentally awake, but feel like you could take a nap at absolutely any point in the day?  (Steph M, I'm imagining that motherhood is somewhere in this feeling - am I close?)  That's me this moment, this day, and most likely the rest of the week, too. :oP   I'll tell you this, though, the work days are flying by, and I'm 100% okay with that!

Third (and final) Colts Tailgate Tour for us to work tonight.  It was HOT HOT HOT!  Muncie is also very windy, apparently, because wearing a dress (to beat the heat) was ... interesting.  Oh, and I had a hot fudge shake.  It's NOT just a chocolate shake.  If you haven't had one, order it and taste the (positive) difference.  :)

After a long, fun, awesomely relaxing trip, I arrived home and got into bed at 5:00 AM.  Ouch!  Work really wasn't too bad though, surprisingly.  I called it my "fifth wind" by the end of the day.  :oP

Had a great day at the beach!  The water was a bit calmer, the sun was shining, and my SPF 70 sunscreen (for my face) worked well, haha.  We had cocktail night last night on the roof top, and had a gooood time. :)

We were finally able to make it out to the beach today after having two red flags yesterday.  Today it was just one red flag and the purple marine pests flag.  White sandy beaches, warm blue water ... this is nice!

Day 811

Well, we made it to Florida!  I'm running on about 2-3 hours of sleep over the course of 48 hours.  How I'm awake right now, I don't understand.  I've had so much fun already, and we're only on day one/two!  Looking forward to some major beach time, should the waves chill out and allow us to get in the water.  Until then, we'll continue to hang out in our awesome house, wade in the pool, and enjoy cocktails.

It's finally time to head to Florida...and I'm not even close to being packed!  Yikes!  Okay, time to pack fast and hope I've got it all.  Ahh, I can't wait to see everyone!

I got a TON of gardening in today, which was unexpected, but necessary.  The whole packing thing has started, but I haven't gotten too far.  There's always (and will have to be) tomorrow!

Photographed the IU Radiology Graduation Banquet with my BFF, Bricky-Bricky Whaaaa and hung out with my Momma.  Yep, she scored the job for BK, and I helped.  It was fun and I ate lots of tasty food, including some orange glazed chicken.  I'd like to know how to replicate that!

Team Freckles (Kenny + me) unfortunately did not dominate at trivia tonight.  Considering it was our first time and there were two of us (versus 8+), I say we did well. :oP  Hoping to make this a regular every other Wednesday night thing, so let me know if you'd like to join us!

Despite the not so stellar turnout, today's Colts Tailgate Tour in Bloomington was fun.  The weather was beautiful, the people were nice, and I got to dine at Laughing Planet for dinner and Chocolate Moose for dessert.  Yum!

Colts Tailgate Tour: Indy.  Met some Colts players and cheerleaders.  This would have been way cooler if I was more interested in sports.

I had an awesome day out on Alexis and Brent's boat on Lake Lemon.  We went down with Alex (my bub) and the two baby girls, Lillie and Ellie.  It was beautiful!  We headed to Mother Bear's Pizza after for some dinner.  If you know me at all, you know I loooove that place.  We had the Treasure of Monte Cristo in case you're a fan, too.  Ahh, boating.  What a life! :)
